The
communities of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg get into
the spirit of Harvest Festival with elaborate displays of pumpkins,
mums, gourds, scarecrows, and cornstalks as they decorate for
the fall season.
Outdoor activities such as hiking, walking, and driving thru the
mountains are also favorites as the mountains change from their
summer greens to beautiful shades of red, gold, burgundy, and
orange. Peak color in the mountains is normally from mid-to-late
October.
Other activities include Dollywood's National Music & Harvest
Festival where some of the nation's best gospel singers perform,
The Gatlinburg Craftsmen Fair, Heritage Days, Taste of Autumn,
Robert Tino's Smoky Mountain Homecoming and much more.
Check our events
calendar for activities you will not want to miss as you plan
your Fall trip to the Smoky Mountains.
